In a category that usually focuses on product development, Sumsub, the full-cycle verification platform, saw an opportunity to take on a new direction. Sumsub came to us with the challenge to develop an awareness campaign to increase the brand’s recognition among its business audience.
We were determined to preserve was Sumsub’s core mission: powering a people-friendly digital future. Instead of limiting our focus to businesses alone, we aimed to connect this mission to the lives of everyday people (B2C2B). By leveraging the benefits Sumsub offers its B2B clients and extending them to a consumer perspective, we could use the available technology to affect society and create change.
With this in mind we identified a pressing problem in the digital world: digital exclusion.
According to Sumsub’s research, an estimated 627 million individuals – and potential customers, representing a spending power of $1.75 trillion – have been unfairly red-flagged and are, therefore, excluded from accessing digital services. We saw an opportunity to demonstrate the sheer scale of this population and spotlight this issue, all while presenting a unique opportunity for businesses.
